Some perspective....figures for the US. Renewables are ~11% of generation, while coal and natural gas are ~62%. The notion that we are going to 'decarbonize' the grid in ten years is a fantasy. Here is data for California....wind hasn't moved much since 2014. Look at the rate increases for solar - the rate of growth is slowing down - a lot.
