So far, we bought XIV on Dec-13 at 134.44 and sold on Jan 16 at 137.76 for 2.47% profit. The proceeds are invested in VXX at 27.44.
I hope everyone heeded my warning yesterday and did not actually do that.

я поспешил и сделал это :)
кроме того, каждая транзакция получается у меня на практике на 0.5-1% хуже, чем у вас в теории,
так что 3 транзакции в сумме хуже ваших на 2.6% и я сейчас в минусе -3.7%
что не биг дил, тем более, что моя другая позиция, Long XIV, с начала года поднялась на 5.5%

and some systematic things, like bid/ask spread,
or, if the system is really good, maybe the next day is always (or at least on average) worse,
than the day of a switch,
Again, all of them are not that important of the "great scheme of things"
