ny_quantС одной стороны непонятно зачем Пелоси понесло в Тайвань и вообще choose your battles wisely. А с другой стороны непонятно чего это вдруг китайцы так оборзели. Был же там Гингрич 25 лет назад и ничего, проглотили.
С третьей стороны, или ты первый парень на деревне или любое дерьмо тебе будет на любимую мозоль наступать. Был же Карибский кризис и мы все знаем кто сморгнул первым. Не надо было, конечно, начинать эту бучу, но и отступать теперь тоже нельзя.

Делать вид, что с тех пор ничего не изменилось и можно, как и прежде, открывать все двери ногой, могут только последние идиоты, Сегодняшние действия России (и Ирана, и Сербии пару дней назад, и даже члена НАТО Турции) тому подтверждение). Как ответит Китай (не обязательно немедленно) — хрен его знает.
пс. Кстати, вы серьёзно про кто "сморгнул первым" в Карибском кризисе. Как в детском саду, ей Б-гу! Но википедия утверждает, что не всё так однозначно:

Я тоже. Возможно даже раньше вас. Поэтому ещё со времён далёкой юности (кон. 70-х), я не понимал причину бахвальства наших "прозападников" (к которым и сам относился), с восторгом утверждавших что американцы уделали коммуняк в Карибском кризисе.
Хрущёв — кукурузная деревенщина, собиравшаяся взорвать Луну ("Да и хуй с ней!", как он говорил) — оказался не только ответственней и своих вояк-забияк, и кучи военно-политической элиты США (Вам стоило для полноты картины начать цитировать википедию чуть раньше , всего на один абзац: ("Khrushchev knew he was losing control.
