Уезжая в отпуск я обычно не читаю никакие новости, так что могу легко отстать от жизни. В данном случае и отстал бы, но меня спас друг nefedor поделившийся со мной важной новостью о том, что корпорация добра теперь ещё и корпорация точного знания климатологии.

... we’re announcing a new monetization policy for Google advertisers, publishers and YouTube creators that will prohibit ads for, and monetization of, content that contradicts well-established scientific consensus around the existence and causes of climate change. This includes content referring to climate change as a hoax or a scam, claims denying that long-term trends show the global climate is warming, and claims denying that greenhouse gas emissions or human activity contribute to climate change.

По сути дела, у меня ровно никаких симпатий к зоологическим отрицателям коих столь много среди русскоязычных пользователей. Если бы не слово "includes" я бы наверное пожал плечами и ничего не сказал. Но я очень подозреваю, что "includes" подразумевает "but not limited". В общем, еще одна скользкая дорожка в ад.

А погоды, кстати, стоят чудесные. Почти 8 вечера 15 октября, а температура 22 Цельсия, днем был аж 27. Примерно так же было и всю неделю. Хорошие времена!

Some notable climate change skeptics with scientific expertise are likely to be banned if they put up ads or try to monetize content featuring their beliefs on Google or YouTube.

One such example would be Richard Lindzen, an emeritus professor of meteorology at MIT, who has said in the past that the consensus on climate change is “propaganda” and that believing climate change is largely caused by increases in carbon dioxide is “pretty close to believing in magic.”

Google declined to address Lindzen's viewpoints specifically when asked by the Washington Examiner, but a review of its new climate change ad policy suggests he would be in the line of fire.
