French Open because she felt that her mental health was a distraction.

The grand slam rules dictate that press conferences are mandatory and players can be fined up to $20k for missing any of them Т.е.

In team sports, of course, this is the case.

Otherwise, there is a difference between a Barnum circus and a sport. MMA was always much closer to a circus, they formed an international federation only in 2012, and they are purely in Barnum's tradition (in my opinion at least, and I would never consider them a sport).

If the world tennis is also first of all a show, let them say it in public. The tennis fandom is different (from MMA fandom), and declaring themselves a circus would cut their revenues two orders of magnitude; they absolutely need to maintain a facade of being a noble sport, not a [omitting the words I have for "American fighter 'sports'"]).

You are entitled to your own opinions but not to your own facts.

The fact is that MMA is a sport exactly for the same reason as boxing is. You calling them circus doesn't make it so. It's a show, of course but that doesn't make it circus. "Hamilton" on Broadway is show, too.

Nothing wrong with a sport being also a show. All good sports are shows whether they say so in public or not. That's why fans come to the stadiums and watch it on TV, that's why advertisers pay the organizers and teams, that's what funds the exorbitant incomes of the athletes - the show element.

In all my years watching MMA I never heard anyone saying or referring to it being "noble". It's a blood sport but a sport nevertheless.

Late thought. Your comments are so weird and uneducated that I have to ask. Are you sure you are not confusing MMA with professional wrestling like WWE which actually *is* a circus?

I was completely confusing them, so it's my turn to apologize...
