Цена майской нефти (CL) упала почти на $50 за баррель и достигла -$30. Опечатки нет: цены на нефть стали резко отрицательными. Нефти так много, что те у кого ещё есть хранилища, куда ее можно закачать, берут за это немалые деньги. Цена на Brent пока что держится в районе $26. Удивительные времена!

Update: Уже -37 и продолжает падать. Дальше следите сами.

There are technological and infrastructure advantages to electric cars beyond gas price. For example, wind is now the cheapest form of new energy in many markets and it needs similar battery technology as electric cars. Same with peaker plants, they are now being converted to batteries as they are cheaper to operate and faster to respond to spikes in demand.

In any case that is a long-term transition over years, maybe decades. The oil price collapse is happening within days.
