That table seems a bit outdated, I found this one: https://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy21osti/78471.pdf. Still on-shore is significantly cheaper. Interesting, I did not realize that.

Believe me, I did the computation :)
Without the batteries (assuming net metering) it pays for itself in ~5-6 years, even less with the federal tax incentive. Not bad ROI at all. With a battery, it is more like 8-10 years but it is nice to be able to go off-grid.
