Date: 2020-08-20 06:35 pm (UTC)I think, stealing anything including emails, it's bad. Receiving stolen emails is maybe half bad but I'm sure most political campaigns won't refuse such a gift. Receiving stolen emails from or with the help of a foreign power doesn't make it much worse unless they actually asked for help which for all we know they didn't.

Date: 2020-08-20 06:56 pm (UTC)Emails, like any file, can be copied but cannot be missing. This doesn't even make sense. Essentially he wanted to get stolen info from anybody. It's not quite a request to steal but he wants help. Or, I suspect, when he was saying it he already knew that he would get it and he knew from whom, in which case it means nothing.

Она тщательнейшим образом уничтожила 30К(?) e-mail'ов, самостоятельно (вместе со своим адвокатом) определив, что они носят частный характер. Ну, Трамп и пошутил.
Во-вторых, что ж ФСБ не выложил копии этих e-mail'ов, раз Трамп их об этом попросил?
В-третьих, считаете ли Вы прямую просьбу Обамы к Медведеву не поднимать перед выборами вопрос о ПРО примером "direct request for help"?

Date: 2020-08-26 05:49 am (UTC)Разумеется нет - Putin не идиот чтоб желать президента который разрешит вовсю бурить нефть и газ, подрывая Putin's основной источник дохода. Этот фактор на порядки перевешивает всё остальное.
Putin, как и все остальные в 2016 и по всем опросам, был уверен, что Хиллари точно выиграет, и пытался уменьшить её отрыв чтоб её ослабить.

Если бы Трамп в ответ на помощь в избрании "продал бы родину" Putiny. Ничего такого не заметно, скорее наоборот.
А Вы помните как Шиффу (или кому то ещё из видных Демов, но вроде ему) позвонили русские пранкстеры Вован и Лексус, и предложили компромат на Трампа, на что он тут же радостно с энтузиазмом согласился
