Было бы интересно это подтвердить какими-то фактами. Типа При Рейгане и Буше ст. всё было здорово, при Клинтоне началось, при Буше мл. опять стало лучше, а при Обаме совсем стало плохо. Непонятно только как это сделать не подбросив selection bias.

Но, в любом случае, сейчас-то Трамп порядок наведёт, уже почти навёл.

А вот ВаПо клевещет, что и при Рейгане политизация была, но врут наверное:

Сарказм детектед. Я очень надеюсь, что наведёт. Иначе при следующем дем. президенте (ели он будет) страна превратится в банановую республику. Это yже далеко не смешно.

По-моему репутация WaPo не позволяет принимать их всерьёз. Но это ваше дело.
