Why? But of course it's their position on climate change! They want to condemn our grandchildren to blah blah blah. It's beyond debate!

He also said that today's democrats are what used to be called moderate republicans. And republicans are off the spectrum, just criminals.

Мне кажется, люди, достигшие вершин в какой-то области сами по себе интересны, даже если они метатели копья с двумя извилинами.

А Чомский, конечно, не идиот. Что мне в нем не нравится, так это, скорее, даже не его взгляды, а то что он bully. И в науке тоже.
