Факт: президент приступает к обязанностям в тот момент, когда бюджет на текущий (на момент его вступления в должность) календарный год уже принят Конгрессом в предыдущем году и подписан предыдущим президентом (или им самим - если второй срок). Буша избрали в 2000, начал работать в 2001, отвечает начиная с 2002. Обама - с 2010.

Достижения Буша с 2002 по 2009 год, в миллиардах:

2002: 157
2009: 1412

Обама:

2010: 1294
2012: 1087

Итого, при Буше дефицит увеличился в 9 раз, а при Обаме сократился на 20%.

Imam Mohammad Qatanani is the guy in New Jersey whom Governor Chris Christie has consistently defended and praised against those concerned with Qatanani’s ties to Hamas. Chris Christie infamously referred to people with such concerns as ‘crazies’ he was ‘tired of dealing’ with when he was asked about his appointment of Qatanani’s lawyer – Sohail Mohammed – to a Superior Court judgeship in Pasaic County, New Jersey.

According to a google post by the Muslim Students Association (MSA), a proven Muslim Brotherhood group, Imam Qatanani is scheduled to speak at an MSA event in Motclair, NJ on February 13th.

Case in point was in 2008, when then US Attorney for New Jersey Chris Christie offered to be a character witness at the deportation hearing of Mohammed Qatanani. Qatanani was an imam at the Islamic Center of Passaic County who favored funding Hamas. On one occasion, Christie embraced and kissed Qatanani.

In 2010, Governor Christie approved of the firing of a New Jersey Transit worker who, on his own time attended a 9/11 memorial ceremony. At the ceremony, Derek Fenton burned several pages of the Koran in protest of the Muslim involvement in the terrorist attack. The ACLU came to Fenton’s rescue and helped him get his job back because Christie and the state violated Fenton’s First Amendment rights of free speech.

So just what is Christie hinting at when he tells Jake Tapper in the clip above that we need a "commonsense path to citizenship." We already have one, and more than a million people a year take advantage of it.

What's he's hinting at, of course, is amnesty. But pols know the A-word scares voters, so they use the slippery "path to citizenship" line to fool the public. Are you fooled? Me neither.

But I love when our governor tells Tapper "there have been folks all over the map on this bill."

Yeah, folks named Chris Christie. Recently he criticized Arizona officials for attempting to do what he so conspicuously failed to do as U.S. Attorney - enforce immigration law.

Не понял, что означает выделенная фраза. Кем это "proven" и как именно? И далее то же самое:

Ох уж этот блогосфернный стиль. "should have been identified". Видимо это личное мнение аффтара которое beyond dispute. В сухом остатке имеем: Кристи поддерживает (видимо, на основании личного знакомства) имама, который выступил на собрании студенческой мусульманской организации, которая якобы состоит в Muslim Brotherhood, которую, по-мнению аффтара, по недосмотру не объявили врагом америки после 9/11. Ужос, ужос. Немедленная пожизненная дисквалификация.

По словам Кристи, Обама безукоризненно выполнил все свои обещания связанные с Сэнди, и я не вижу причин ему не верить. В общем, body hug - страшный грех, страшный.
