The United Nations' Secretary-General António Guterres personally selected Pakistani-American Ayisha Siddiqa calls for Whites to be stripped of power in 'revolutionary fights'

Siddiqa was a Time Woman of the Year in 2023 who has co-founded two youth climate activist organizations.

One of the criteria for candidates landing the two-year assignment was a "demonstrated commitment to the UN’s values."

в каком-то смысле, да,
но с другой стороны, собственно, смысл ООН в значительной мере и состоял в том, что США и СССР имели площадку, где они могут мирно договориться, без мировой войны, соответственно они там имеют равные (и очень большие, по сравнению с остальными) права, потом добавили Англию, Францию и Китай,
а Иранам и шведам-Гретам ничего такого не обещали, это уже потом пошло

It was true about the USSR, which had certain grandeur despite being an evil empire. Modern Russia is just a terrorist state, pretty similar to Iran, perhaps worse (and much more dangerous). For example, it was actually possible to negotiate agreements with USSR and expect them to follow the rules. Modern Russia has zero credibility. Unlike Russia, USSR did not jail western journalists (and after Stalin did not even murder dissidents, at least not openly). Etc, etc.
