До главной газеты мира неожиданно дошло, то что все и так давно знали.

The Houston area shows a similar trend. The region added nearly 1.3 million homes between 1980 and 2020, as these maps show:

Численных оценок того, насколько рост ущерба от ураганов связан с передвижением людей туда где они бывают по сравнению с якобы ростом их разрушительной силы, тоже не приводится. Только bigger culprit и всё.

В другой заметке они крутятся как уж на сковородке делая вид, что ураганный прогноз был в этом году не совсем провальным.

У меня один приятель ездил туда летом на заработке. Работал у русских в хорошем смысле (потомки проданных царем Америке, негров называют чернышами), говорил что работа жутко тяжелая и never again.
