"The plaintiffs do not have standing to bring these claims," Judge Timothy Batten ruled from the bench immediately following about an hour of argument.

Trump просто берет и пишет executive order, где,
без доказательств, просто объявляет Dominion и Smartmatic
1) foreign companies
2) national security threat
и запрещает иметь с ними дело. под видом охраны выборов
от иностранного вмешательства (тут ему гарантирован bi-partisan support.
but of course)

конечно, у этих компаний есть всевозможные сертификации и так далее.
и, тем более, голоса-то уже подсчитаны.

но вот тем не менее. если честно, я не вижу, почему бы ему
не попробовать такой ход. результатов, скорее всего, никаких не будет.
но будет общее оживление и дальнейшее продолжение цирка

которыми раньше владел как раз Smartmatic. ну, а Smartmatic
как раз вполне себе иностранный

CFIUS dropped the investigation when Smartmatic agreed to divest Sequoia, in a deal whereby all of Sequoia's shares were sold off to SVS Holdings for an undisclosed price.
