Вы это скажите тем, кто очень громко возмущается по поводу случаев, когда профессоров за "неправильные" высказывания временно отстранили от преподавания, или еще что-нибудь в этом духе.

Так все и выступают все время, что наших обижают зря, а ихних правильно, потому что они в другой категории. Но мой пойнт был не в этом, а в том, что тут уже достаточно комментов, где спорят, кого и где обижают, а я предпочитаю гуглить, это быстрее.

Вообще представления русскиз иммигрантов об американской реальности значительно искажены тем, что они чаще всего являются консерваторами в местах сосредоточения либералов, поэтому они уверены, что либералы всем правят и всех обижают. А вот что пишет американский консерватор:

That's just one voice. I have too many friends who go completely on tangent if you just mention Trump in any context, who spend days echo-chambering with like-minded TDS afflicted on FB. "Conservatives" are not much better but slightly less deranged, in my opinion.

Дэвид Френч неокон-неветрампер, т.е. даже не просто антитрампист, а из самой активной и яростной фракции антитрампистов.
С другой стороны евангелики вообще, а особенно южные евангелики(церковь Южные Баптисты как они себя называют после раскола с северными в 19 веке) не просто трамписты in masse, a БАЗА Трампа.

Естественно, что терки были неизбежны.

В статье по ссылке yucca Дэвид Френч хитро смешивает относительно терпимое отношение к нему в среде либов несмотря на его глубокую религиозность и нетерпимое отношение к нему единоверцев на Юге(Тенесси) всвязи с Трампом(с момента взлета Трампа),
т.е. смешиваeт яблоко с апельсином.

Кроме того она называет его "американский консерватор". Консерваторы плохо относятся к неоконам(neoconservative)
