Только я выругался какие демократы козлы как дедушка Джо сообщил, что выбрал Харрис. Козел. Исключительно неприятная тетка по-моему. Из всех кандидатов в президенты худшее впечатление производил только ДиБлазио. Ну м.б. еще Уоррен. Если бы с другой стороны был не Трамп пожелал бы им проиграть с разгромным счетом. А другого глобуса так и нет.

Unfortunately Biden was also "tough on crime". I don't quite see how he and Harris are planning to implement a criminal justice reform.

I don't have an opinion on that.

What is being discussed here though is that picking Harris diminished Biden's election chances, because Harris turns off black voters. On that I do have an opinion, I think that is a fantasy.

Historically vp choices barely matter. I cannot imagine it being the case.

However a reform is a more important issue.

I have no idea what they are planning to do. Hopefully not more harm.

If you are interested, here is what should be done (IMHO):

1. Stop the disastrous war on drugs.
2. Go back to the Fourth Amendment enforcement (prohibition on unreasonable searches) and "the castle doctrine" (my house is my castle). I.e., no more SWAT raids on small-time drug dealers (or even to break up poker games), "dynamic" no-knock entry and all that other crap.
3. Transparent reporting of complaints against police. No qualified immunity.
4. Stop the militarization of police. No transfer of military equipment, training with the Navy Seals, etc.
5. Reform the prison system. Replace most prison sentences with GPS monitoring or home confinement for non-violent offenses.
