They tell you that the bag was taken out of the plane for unknowns reasons but they will put it on the next plane and deliver it to you by the end of the day. For free! But they don't. Each call the their "resolution center" is an hour on hold. In the end, you get to speak to a very apologetic Indian who has no idea why your bag it's still at you departure point but promises that it will be sent by the next plane and his supervisor will call me first thing tomorrow with explanations. Of course, both are lies. Eventually you give up realizing that your bag is actually lost and go shopping to buy basic necessities. Then you get a text in the middle of next night that your bag is delivered to the hotel.
