NY Times makes the case about discrimination of black men but, interestingly, not women. If anything, there is a bias in favor of black women who continue to suffer from racism, according to some.

не поймешь их, то у них черных женщин особенно злостно дискриминируют, то, наоборот, мужчин...
кстати, в одном из исследований, которые я нашел после прочтения предудущее серии, говорилось о двух непонятных вещах в детской смертности, не объяснимых простыми факторами, типа социо-экономических:
1) у черных женщин младенческая смертность высока по сравнению с белыми, при равном доходе и образовании
2) у латинок ниже, опять же при прочих равных
понятно, борцам первое было интересно (и "ясное дело, доказывает расизм"), второе нет

у этих тоже, "понятное дело, это расизм!"

The research makes clear that there is something unique about the obstacles black males face. The gap between Hispanics and whites is narrower, and their incomes will converge within a couple of generations if mobility stays the same. Asian-Americans earn more than whites raised at the same income level, or about the same when first-generation immigrants are excluded. Only Native Americans have an income gap comparable to African-Americans. But the disparities are widest for black boys.
