Нет пророка в нашем отечестве
Apr. 23rd, 2010 11:47 amA U.S. Muslim group has issued a dire Internet "warning" to creators of "South Park" over a depiction of the Prophet Muhammad in a bear outfit.
"We have to warn Matt (Stone) and Trey (Parker) that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," said a posting on website RevolutionMuslim.com.
Кто-то мог бы подумать, что здесь вам не тут. Нам ли их бояться у себя-то дома? А вот поди ж ты:
Last night, "South Park" continued the controversial Muhammad storyline, but with a key difference: every instance of the words "Prophet Muhammad" was bleeped out, making the episode practically incomprehensible
Parker and Stone comment on "South Park" censorship: It wasn't some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle's customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn't mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too.
