Date: 2025-02-08 03:34 am (UTC)Существущая система финансовой поддержки и прочей помощи малоимущим устроена так, что выгоднее не работать по-белому вовсе (а подвизаться в теневой экономике), чем работать на низкооплачиваемой работе. Это безобразие, приводящее к расслоению населения на честных налогоплательщиков и паразитов, должно быть прекращено как можно быстрее.

Date: 2025-02-08 10:08 pm (UTC)Лечатся провалы в реальной покупательной способности, вызываемые внезапной отменой поддержки (в первую очередь, конечно, Medicaid) по достижении определенных порогов дохода. Сколько-то лет назад я видел прекрасный график, у которого по оси абсцисс был yearly gross income, а по оси ординат — сумма средств, которыми человек мог распоряжаться, включая полагающуюся поддержку. Функция была сильно немонотонная.

В 21 веке со всеми его компьютерами сделать дурную нынешнюю систему льгот (придуманную при царе горохе, когда все налоги делали вручную на бумажке), градуированной, чтобы ни в каком диапазоне доходов не было резкого провала в общей сумме собственных доходов и льгот — не составляет никакой принципиальной сложности, надо только захотеть.

Date: 2025-02-08 10:28 pm (UTC)Состояние дел в том, что медицина для бедных в Америке отвратительная. И её призывают сокращать ещё. Это работяющий метод уменьшения количества бедных, но вроде бы правые обещали делать это как-то иначе.
