To cover monthly housing costs, 43% of these people had to eat out at restaurants less often. OMG! Просто слёзы жалости наворачиваются! Не поймите неправильно: жить на <50К невесело, особенно в городах, но это не очень удачная иллюстрация. И отпуска тоже.

This is concerning:

74% of US residents earning less than $50,000 annually are struggling to afford their mortgage or rent payments.
