The Hoboken Public Library will host a family-friendly "Drag Queen Story Hour" at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 to commemorate LGBT Pride Month. According to the library, the special family program is open to children 3 to 8-years-old and their families.

I think I understand what you are saying -- the world is becoming different and that causes many people to retreat.

There is some truth to it, no doubt.

My point is that drag queen readings in your library are a symptom of this change, not its cause. Just like Trump did not cause this shift but is merely a symptom (although he is doing his best to inflame the resentment).

Not just that the world changes but certain fraction of the society is aggressively pushing most annoying aspects of this change down the throat of American people. Trump is not in small part a symptom, like an allergy, of what deplorables have for the ultra left-wing agenda. Continue doing it in such an in-your-face style and you'll get more Trump, or worse.

Well, progressive causes are always annoying to those who do not share the sentiment. Think about the Vietnam era anti-war protests, for example.
